These Rods are my passion…7-8 yrs in design & trial and error. I built over 50 different rods to get it right. Made to be the perfect spoon rods, they became “champions” of the Light Bite!
The flat blade tip section acts as a spring bobber for all season fishing without freezing as is common with the springs.
Crappies usually “suck” a spoon or light bait in without the perceivable “thump”. Although these bites are not discernible, they can ALWAYS be seen. Tension will pull the blade tip down indicating the strike.
Despite being designed for spoon fishing, these rods really stand out when fishing light baits. Fishing a smaller jig head in any depth of water is tricky. You may not feel the bite, but you can ALWAYS SEE IT!
A GREAT way to help new fishermen and kids to associate “the feel” of a bite by seeing it.
*STORAGE TIP*: Rods should be stored without any tension on the flat-blade tip section. It’s best to cut lures off during storage as the flat tip could take a set.
We currently offer two choices for rod shipping, USPS and UPS. If you choose to ship rods through the USPS (post office) you acknowledge and accept there may be significant delays in shipping times. We highly recommend utilizing UPS for rod shipping as they have a much shorter delivery time with fewer delays.
